This reliable and unique audience response system offers presenters, auctioneers, organisers and hosts of any event or conference the ability to interact with their audience easily.

Whether it is an electronic voting system in a conference or a silent auction taking place at a fundraising event, audience participation is essential and this is where an audience response system can make a big difference.

In addition, conference sessions can benefit from this electronic response system, for example, by letting audience members use their voting device as a hand held microphone to talk to the presenter and their fellow audience members, or text responses to a moderator who can then ask questions of the panel.

​Q&A Sessions

Question and answer sessions are great opportunities to gain insight into your participants’ opinions. Every member of your audience has an equal opportunity to express their opinions using this audience responses system.

Each keypad has an in-built microphone that can be activated. This eliminates the time spent handing around a roving microphone, granting more time for active debate and discussion.

Audience members wanting to speak can activate their microphone at the press of a button on a first-come first-serve basis. When someone is speaking, all other microphones are deactivated to prevent interruptions.

Microphone queuing software allows delegates to register their wish to speak and places them in a queue. Alternatively, the devices can help structure Q&A sessions through the use of the text messaging functionality, where feedback can be displayed to the audience immediately.

Voting

Empower your participants with an equal opportunity to express their opinion with the use of an audience response system, where the voting results are captured and displayed immediately.

This instant data generates active discussion and help determine an overall conclusion or view emerging trends and shifts in opinion throughout the meeting.
Votes can be either anonymous or identified using individualized smart cards.  A wide variety of question formats can be used during the presentation to maintain and create audience interests and participation. Results can be presented in various formats, such as bar, column or pie chart.

At the end of the event, the results are available in PowerPoint format and the details can be exported directly to EXCEL for further analysis.

​Surveys

Post event evaluation can be critical in providing the information required to formulate future events. How to save the time and money usually spent on producing, reading and manually collating evaluation questionaires?

You may survey the audience using instant audience response systems on key issues while capturing and displaying the results immediately. Instead of handing out evaluation forms to the audience, the audience response system can capture the information electronically as the participants complete the survey on the electronic system.

Participants are relieved of the need to fill in an evaluation form at the end of the meeting while the organisers need not deal with data entry.

The survey can be conducted at the end of each presentation, while it is still fresh in the audience mind. Messaging

Keypad text messaging, text voting, text polling, SMS voting and SMS polling are a fast and effective way of gathering detailed feedback from your audience in real time. It gives every participant a chance to have their say, providing valuable insight into the thoughts and feelings of an entire audience.

It lends a voice to participants who might never normally speak in front of others. Texting via our interactive devices is very easy and similar to the text function on a mobile phone. Participants simply type their message into their device and press send.

Messages are received instantly by a central computer where they can be reviewed, prioritised and then displayed. The responses can be either anonymous or identified using Smartcard, and stored for post-event analysis.

All responses are kept within the room. This is a “Closed” system and does not use a public telephony technology. ​Brainstorming

Use the audience response system to generate a large number of ideas and opinions to help in problem solving and brainstorming sessions. With the text messaging functionality, everyone can voice their ideas without the need for post-it notes and flip chart paper! Another Green Initiative!

Each participant is given a device on which to text responses instead of writing ideas on post-it pads. The text messages are instantly transmitted to a control laptop where they can be reviewed and classified. The combined responses can then be displayed to fuel further discussion. Key issues can be identified and voted upon for instant prioritisation. Actions can be proposed and agreed as a group.

This function allows for a structured brainstorming session and gives everyone an equal opportunity to have their say and encourages participation from delegates who might normally be reluctant to speak. This is also a greener meeting solution!

​Quizzes

Create a fun and lively atmosphere with exciting interactive quizzes that are guaranteed to have your audience gripped! Quizzes are a fun way to introduce audience to the technology. It is a quick and entertaining way to assess participants’ knowledge levels while increasing retention of key information.

Post questions to the audience as part of the presentation. Scoring can be for accuracy as well as speed of response either for individuals or as part of a team. The system automatically calculates team and individual scores, which can be displayed immediately after each round.

Demographics

This audience response system can be used to capture invaluable demographic data to break down and allow further analysis of the results. The participants can be asked to select their industry sector at the beginning of the session. Each subsequent question can then be displayed with its results broken down by the responses given.

Results can be broken down by any number of demographics and displayed live to the audience.  Detailed reports can be provided after the event to gain greater in-sight into the data provided by the audience. In one of the examples above, we ask the gender of the participant and then poll how well they know the system. We can then determine if there is a link between knowledge of the system and the gender of the person.

​On-The-Fly Sessions

​Create impromptu questions for your audience to respond to with pre-defined ad-lib question templates. This helps to maximise interaction with the audience and facilitates the management of the direction of the discussion based on audience responses. This value-add service allows the best use of the technology and yet is available as part of the standard package.

To do a quick straw poll of the audience, the presenter will prompt the on-site producer to bring up the appropriate ad-lib question template. Once the vote is closed, the results are generated immediately as in a usual voting session to generate further discussion, where appropriate. The audience may also text in their comments using the interactive devices.

These ad lib questions are retained in the database and are available in the reports provided to customers.
