Auracast™ Silent Conference in Action for Google
Congress Singapore supported Spalba Live and its end client, Google, with an Auracast Silent Conference solution for a series of presentations delivered from an exhibition booth at Suntec Convention Centre.
Using active noise-cancelling headphones connected to the presentation audio through Auracast technology, delegates could hear each speaker clearly without being distracted by noise from neighbouring booths.
The open sessions covered a range of topics, primarily focused on artificial intelligence. City leaders, corporate executives, academics and researchers could join or leave the presentations at any time, requiring a solution that was intuitive, accessible and easy to manage throughout the event.
A Simple, Seamless Auracast Silent Conference Setup
Congress Singapore delivered a streamlined silent conference configuration consisting of an Auracast transmitter and Congress Auracast Silent Headphones.
Audio from the presentation microphones was connected directly to the Auracast transmitter, allowing it to broadcast clear presentation audio wirelessly to each headset. The active noise-cancelling headphones helped minimise surrounding exhibition noise and created a focused listening experience for delegates.
Following a site visit, the on-site setup was completed quickly. The plug-and-play Auracast transmitter required minimal equipment and could be easily integrated into the exhibition booth’s presentation system.

Overcoming Limited Exhibition Booth Space
Space within the exhibition booth was limited, and the area initially allocated for the technical equipment was inside a metal box. As the enclosure could interfere with the Auracast transmitter’s wireless signal, it was not suitable for the equipment.
The Congress Singapore team repositioned the transmitter outside the metal enclosure and reorganised the setup to maintain reliable audio distribution while keeping the equipment accessible and unobtrusive.
The compact Auracast configuration was particularly well suited to the restricted booth environment, requiring minimal infrastructure while allowing delegates to collect their headphones and immediately connect to the presentation.

A Clear and Engaging Delegate Experience
The Auracast Silent Conference solution successfully delivered clear and focused presentation audio within a busy exhibition environment.
Both Spalba Live and Google were highly satisfied with the solution, while delegates found the headphones effective and easy to use. The active noise-cancelling functionality was highlighted as an essential feature, helping participants remain engaged despite noise from surrounding exhibition booths.
The event also demonstrated the flexibility of Auracast Silent Conference for open exhibition sessions, where audiences regularly join and leave presentations.
