Client Brief
For the Inter Airport Southeast Asia 2025 exhibition and conference held at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), Singapore, Congress Singapore was tasked with delivering a robust 2-way channel Silent PA system to support multiple, concurrent stage presentations in a single open ballroom space. Organised in partnership with MediaPro International, the solution had to maintain clear, independent audio for each zone while integrating seamlessly with MediaPro’s in-house AV infrastructure and multilingual interpretation workflows.

Our Solution

Congress Singapore provided a fully integrated Silent Conference system using Bosch digital infrared technology to deliver superior audio quality without interference. The system supported simultaneous multi-channel audio delivery, enabling attendees to switch between different stage presentations or language feeds effortlessly using wireless IR receivers and over-ear headphones.

Audio feeds from the presenters were captured and routed to our transmitters via direct line outputs from MediaPro’s audio mixer, ensuring consistent signal quality and no duplication of equipment.
Challenges and Solutions

Concurrent presentations in a shared space
Operating multiple sessions in a single ballroom without audio overlap was a central challenge. Congress Singapore’s Silent PA solution overcame this by delivering isolated audio channels directly to each participant via IR headsets, eliminating crosstalk and maintaining a calm, professional environment.

Coordination with venue AV teams
Congress collaborated closely with MediaPro’s technical staff, who provided handheld microphones and audio mixers. Congress Singapore’s technicians synced channel inputs and performed joint signal testing to ensure compatibility across the full AV system.

Interpretation and channel switching
The system supported multilingual interpretation and content switching. Delegates could toggle channels on their receivers to select different sessions or language feeds—a flexible and intuitive setup that proved highly effective for a diverse audience.

This event supported high-impact programming under the theme of Smart Airports, backed by CAAS, ACI Asia-Pacific, and the Singapore Tourist Board.
